Hands-On With The New Nintendo Controller

Nintendo said the Wiimote could 'detect its exact location and orientation in 3D space' with 'pixel-perfect accuracy', but the current technology shown at E3 says otherwise. The Wiimote was disappointing at E3 by many, especially on Red Steel. Was this the final Wiimote, or a prototype? Were the Wii games running on GameCubes?

Classic Gaming at E3
While we were at E3 this year, we spotted lots of classic gaming goodness. Like this Volkswagen bug pimped out Pac-Man style.

Sony Copies Wii
Sony seemed to really be impressed with Nintendo's idea of motion sensing in games... so much so that they knocked it off!
That's right, the PS3 controller was revealed using accelerometers like the Wii, and also added a logo button in the center copied from the 360 controller.
Best of all they want us to pay $600 for the console!

Microsoft To Release 18 New Live Arcade Games |

Microsoft announced 18 new games at the Microsoft Pre E3 press briefing. One of those titles is UNO, the mad-addictive card game which is available right now!
Other exciting titles include:
- Contra
- Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
- Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting
- Galaga
- Pac-Man
- Defender
- Frogger

M$ Looking For New Live Arcade Games?

Microsoft is running a sweepstakes for gamers who register their copy of Visual Studio. First prize is a full-size Namco Ms. Pac-Man/Galage arcade game machine! They seem to be encouraging building arcade games, could they be looking for the next Geometry Wars?
